The 1st HE3DA storage enters its 8th year of operation

The HE3DA battery storage system powering Camp David Ranch in the extreme conditions of the Nevada desert has celebrated seven years of operation and is entering its eighth year of continuous service.

It is one of the oldest lithium-ion battery storage facilities in the world that is still in operation, working long-term in an environment with huge temperature fluctuations, dust, and minimal maintenance options. Despite this, the storage facility reliably provides energy for the operation of the entire building, on which the comfort of its residents is completely dependent.

For comparison, the typical service life of lead-acid batteries in this location is approximately 2.5 years. The HE3DA system has thus saved owners three complete replacements of lead-acid batteries, confirming its exceptional durability and long service life.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, were made videos documenting the experiences of ranch owners.
